Whickham Thorns

Gateshead Scouts operates the Whickham Thorns Outdoor Activity Centre on Market Lane.

The site offers a wide variety of activities for young people of all ages as well as adults and is open to all schools, youth groups as well as Scouts and Guides. Activities include climbing, skiing, snow tubing, sledging, forest school, bush craft, high ropes, mountain biking, team challenges, orienteering, bouldering, an outdoor assault course.
